王 天徳
1960年上海市生まれ。
浙江美術学院（現中国美術学院）中国画学科卒業。その後、当学院の書道学部博士号取得。
現在、復旦大学教授。
王天徳氏は伝統的中国芸術への革新を以て海外でもその名が広く知られていて、中国現代水墨発展史におけるもっとも重要な芸術家の一人として褒めたたえられている。独創的水墨山水の画面に煙草或いは線香で焼くという絵画的技法を以て、自分にしかない芸術言語を作り出したのである。以後、彼はまた自分の山水創作を、自分の古代石碑拓本のコレクションと結び付けて、古（いにしえ）と今、壊滅と創造、永劫不変と瞬時消失の合間において
接続と対話を追及している。
Wang Tiande
Born in Shanghai in 1960Graduated from the Chinese Academy of Art (originally the Zhejiang Academy of Art) Chinese Paintings Department Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Calligraphy from the Chinese Academy of Art Currently a professor at Fudan University.
Wang Tiande is well-known overseas for his revolutionary innovations in traditional Chinese art. He is known as one of the most important artists in the history of contemporary Chinese ink painting development. Indeed, Tiande’s techniques of using traditional Chinese ink and the overlying incense burning bring out his unique artistic language.Tiande combines his own landscape creation with his collection of ancient steles, and seek the connection between past and present, destruction and creation, eternity and immutability.

王天德以其对传统中国艺术的革命性创新享誉海外，被誉为中国当代水墨发展史上最重要的艺术家之一。以独创的水墨山水叠加烟烫或香烫绘画的技法形成自己独特的艺术语言。将自己的山水创作与自己收藏的古代碑拓相结合，在古与今，毁灭与创造，永恒不变与稍纵即逝之间寻求连接与对话。

【Important exhibition】
Wang’s works had been exhibited at Today Art Museum (Beijing, China), Suzhou Museum, The Palace Museum Beijing, Guangzhou Art Museum, and other major art museums in China. He held solo shows in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, New York, San Francisco, and other important art institutions worldwide. He was also invited to participate widely in group shows in the United States, the UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, Germany, and etc.
